From July 15, 2019 to July 17, 2019, at the invitation of professor Danguang Pan, department of Civil Engineering, School of Civil and Resource Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, famous professor Boris Jeremic of University of California Davis visited our school and gave a wonderful academic report at the civil building 214.

    During the visit, professor Boris Jeremic gave excellent presentations on the modeling and simulation of the static and dynamic characteristics of soil structure systems, the computational modeling and simulation of soy-structure interaction in nuclear power plants, and the modeling and simulation of seismic soil structure interaction. In the interactive stage of the lecture, professor Boris Jeremic discussed and shared with teachers and students, explained and answered questions patiently, affirmed and encouraged the students' learning spirit of being diligent and inquisitive, and achieved the purpose of promoting mutual communication.

    This seminar provides opportunities for the graduate students to communicate, learn and learn from international culture, which greatly promotes the foreign language level of the graduate students in our school, expands their research ideas and international vision, stimulates their enthusiasm for innovation, and enhances their awareness of international cooperation.
