Brief introduction

Pingfeng Fu, Ph.D., graduated from Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2005 and was an associate professor in School of Civil and Resource Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing.

The research fields mainly include: Treatment and reuse of mining wastewater, Recycling of valuable metals from mine tailings and metallurgical residues, Non-cyanidation and efficient pre-oxidation of gold ores.

Several research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and other projects supported by corporations, have been undertaken and completed. Approximate 50 journal papers have been published, and more than 25 scientific papers have been indexed by SCI or EI. The total SCI citation number of published papers reached above 100.

Undergraduate courses: Fine Process of Non-metallic Minerals, Introduction of Metallurgical Engineering, and Production Practice of Mineral Processing; Postgraduate courses: Solution Chemistry of Flotation and Introduction of Metallurgical Engineering.

Active reviewers for some international journals, including Minerals, Mineral Engineering, Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy and Journal of Hazardous Materials.
