· M.S. in Thermal Engineering, Tianjin University (1990).

· B.S. in Civil Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology (1988).

· Associate Professor, School of Civil and Resource Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (2006-present)

· Engineer, Chembrane Research and Engineering, Inc. New Jersey, USA (2003-2006)

Developed chemical process recovering hazardous metal ions in wastewater with emulsion liquid membrane

· C++ Programmer, HAI Systems, Inc. New Jersey, USA (1999-2001).

Developed financial software for securities processing.

· Engineer, Beijing Gas and Heating Engineering Design Institute (1990-1994).  Conducted basic research as well as project designs.  Conducted project feasibility study (technological, economical, social and environmental).  Wrote and translated investment proposals into English.

Research Interests:

1. Optimization research on cooling system of engine, dynameter, electric motor and battery for heavy duty truck

2. Urban intelligent heating and gas supplying pipeline system research

3. Recovery of hazardous metal from wastewater with emulsion liquid membrane. Mathematical model of transport phenomena of emulsion liquid membrane and its analytical solutions.

4. Research on geothermal application
