Undergraduate education is student-oriented. The school has 5 undergraduate majors in mining engineering, civil engineering, safety engineering, mineral processing engineering, construction environment and energy application engineering. Mining engineering, civil engineering, safety engineering, mineral processing engineering and other disciplines have passed the international engineering education professional certification; mining engineering and safety engineering are national characteristics. Each year, the school enrolls 380 undergraduates (20 international students). During the semester, there are many opportunities for undergraduates to go abroad to study for bachelor's degree of famous international universities, or jointly train them to study for double bachelor's degree of domestic and international.
